You'll only need a Korg Chromatic Electronic tuner...this one covers all 12 strings...and is really indispensable if you play a lot of 12-string ... also indispensable for open tunings.

My friend in prison just bought a new 12 string acoustic guitar and needs
a booklet to instruct him how to tune it. Can you help with this. He
doesn't have access to videos or software to utilize so he needs a
booklet or printed directions.
